From when I was young, I’ve always had a voice. I even lost it a few times because I was screaming the lyrics of ABBA too loud. But whenever I lost my voice, I used different means to communicate, whether that be scribbling on a whiteboard or busting out my wild dance moves. But in these moments of quiet, I was able to learn and listen to the stories of others. This led me to recognize my voice only represents a fraction of the people on earth. Growing up near Flint, MI, I became passionate to share these stories with my skills and creativity. My vivacious energy craved to bring inclusivity, life, and spirit into the world.
