The dragon is known as a growing monster who feasts for fear and power. The sequence investigates the inner demons of Martin, who is possessed by a lust for power similar to a dragon. The growth of the spikes represents the growing rampage inside of Martin. As his psyche begins to fragment and his facade is revealed, the dragon is birthed from his own twisted internal conflict. At the peak of his emotion, the dragon scales crash, but the remnants of his flames still remain.
